The Huawei Ideos X5 U8800 is an Android phone that comes with a modest price tag and packs in all the features of a high end mobile phone. This full touch handset runs on the Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system and uses Google's stock design as its user interface. The Ideos X5 is powered by an 800 MHz Qualcomm Scorpion processor with 512 MB of RAM.

The Android device has been endowed with a 3.8-inch TFT LCD multi-touchscreen, having resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and support for 262 K colors. Imaging is taken care of by the 5 megapixel camera with LED flash mounted on the back of the phone, which has auto focus and geo-tagging features.
